Creamy Cornmeal Cake Recipe

Ingredients for making creamy cornmeal cake:

 1½ cups of cornmeal (180 grams)

 2 cups of sugar (320 grams)

 1 cup grated cheese

 4 cups of milk (960 milliliters)

 2 tablespoons of softened butter

 2 tablespoons of wheat flour

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

 4 units of egg

How to make creamy cornmeal cake:

To make the creamy cornmeal cake, start by mixing in a bowl all the dry ingredients (cornmeal, sugar, cheese and flour) with the exception of the yeast. Mix.

Beat the eggs and add them to the dry ingredients along with the butter. Add the milk little by little while stirring and finally the yeast.

Stir the creamy cornmeal cake preparation very well or, if you prefer, blend the ingredients in a blender. Pour into a rectangular baking dish greased with butter and flour.

Bake in a preheated oven at 150ºC for 30 or 40 minutes. When the crust turns golden and, after inserting a toothpick, it comes out clean, it means that your cake is ready. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Cut squares from the creamy cornmeal cake and arrange them on a serving plate or platter. Serve immediately or refrigerate for a few hours. Enjoy your food!
